Choosing paper can be tricky, especially when you’re doing it online. From colors, to brands to weights it can get confusing. When comparing products and prices there are a few things you should consider:
Though we make every effort to display the colors and textures of our products accurately, the colors you see will depend on your computer monitor. We can’t guarantee your monitor’s display of any color will be exact. We recommend ordering a sample to be sure the color is right.

When shopping online comparing prices is a no-brainer – just make sure you’re comparing identical products. With so many different colors, weights and manufacturers it can get confusing. Even if an item looks the same, don’t assume it is. Be sure to check with the site before purchasing.
Paper comes in two basic weights: text (comparable to laser or copy paper) and cardstock (think of a greeting card or slightly heavier). Within these two categories there are also different weights, which is where you need to be careful. 80# (pound) cardstock is the industry standard, meaning most cardstocks are 80#. However there are also 65# cardstocks which are not as heavy (think index card). There is also 100# Cardstock which is heavi- er than 80#, but still ideal for printing and folding. Make sure when you’re comparing prices you compare the weights being offered. Our paper weights can be found on the description page of each item. Many sites offer comparable prices for lower-weight paper. Make sure you’re getting what you pay for.
